Background Check

• The first step in becoming a foster parent is completing a Background check.

• All adults over the age of 18 living in the home must pass a background check.

• The Background check must be filled out on a physical form, here is the link to this form.

• Once you have filled out the background check forms you will submit the completed forms to Cindy@newbeginingsppa.com with a copy of you Drivers license/State ID and Social Security card.

• New Beginnings will then submit your information to the online Background check system.

• Once your information has been submitted New Beginnings will contact you and get you the necessary form to schedule your fingerprint appointment.

Application & Documentation

• Once your background check’s have been submitted its time to work on your application and required documentation.

• Our agency has a website that will track all the required paperwork for you and help you see with ease what is needed from you.

• This website is called extended reach and New Beginnings administration will email you an invitation to login to this website.

• This website also includes all the required training so you can get started on your trainings as soon as you have access to the website.
